hermle-clock

I have long been an admirer of grandfather clocks, as my own grandfather actually owned quite a beautiful clock and I remember it fondly in many of my childhood memories. Its sound was distinct and deep, and the wood on it was rich and elegant looking. While I’m not sure what happened to that specific grandfather clock, I would love to have a new one with the hope that my children would also treasure it, and could one day own it. I also really like mantel clocks, and have quite a nice one sitting on a display on a shelf in my kitchen. I take great pride in polishing the wood, as it is one of the few expensive items that I have bought for myself.

I found a nice website located at www.1-800-4clocks.com that sells a variety of new grandfather and mantel clocks, and I particular like the Hermle grandfather clocks they have for sale (notably the one pictured to the left). Their blog is also quite interesting, especially this article about discounted grandfather clocks as I certainly wouldn’t mind saving a little money on my dream clock.
