After viewing some open houses with a friend of mine who is looking to buy a new home, I decided that my house is looking a little run down (okay, it’s not that bad) and could use some renovations. While I’d like to do a full scale remodeling job, and have everything from the kitchen to the bathrooms done to even the ceiling done, just that’s not very practical right now, so I will have to settle for a few small upgrades.

My priority is going to be to have our home’s main bathroom redone, as I have just never liked that room, and despite trying to fix its atmosphere with a few different paint jobs, it’s still not my favorite room by far. Of course, we’ll need to hire some quality builders as my husband, despite his best effort, is not very handy. I’m not complaining though, I’m not exactly a pro with a hammer and wrench myself! Anyhow, if all goes well we should have a shiny new look for our bathroom in just a month or so, and I have to say that I’m really looking forward to it.
