An Aussie web marketing firm is selling fans and friends to Facebook subscribers. The same firm has offered such a service to Twitter subscribers. The company name is uSocial and it is focused on social networking websites due to their vast marketing potential. These sites offer user targetting, which is what any marketer loves for promoting a given product or service. The prices range from about $180 to $1200 from getting 1,000 to 10,000 friends, respectively.
Some websites claim that Twitter is attempting to close uSocial down, since it believes the company is spamming members, and the same has been rumoured for Digg.com claiming uSocial is trying to sells votes for certain news stories to artificially inflate their popularity.
